In former Poland and Ukraine, a świetlica was the main room in a home where women gathered for shared work, conversations, and singing. That is exactly what happens in our Świetlica today. We bring light into the darkness of war through cooking together, education, sports, art, and mutual care. It is a safe space co-created by neighbours and volunteers from around the world. This is where we build community.

COMMUNITY LAB

In Ukraine, as well as in other countries affected by war and forced migration, there are women leaders who want to develop initiatives similar to our foundation. They have ideas for social actions that strengthen local communities in the process of rebuilding life after war. We are creating a support network for them, within which we help provide practical tools for building trust, cooperation, and safe spaces in communities returning to everyday life.

LOCAL HUB

We support women from Ukraine who, after arriving in Poland, want to rebuild their professional independence and find their place in a new reality. We help them develop entrepreneurship, return to the job market, and strengthen their social and economic situation.

SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP INCUBATOR “TKANKA”

The main goal of the “TKANKA Social Entrepreneurship Incubator” is to support the development of entrepreneurship, activate professional potential, and strengthen the socio-economic integration of people with refugee experience from Ukraine who arrived in Poland after the outbreak of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, as well as other individuals from the local community at risk of exclusion.
